Saturn, The Devil and Mercury retrograde had a party in my room last night

 September 15, 2021

Last night I went to plug my iPad into a strip to charge and everything went dark in my room.  The Universal Power Supply that I plug my desktop computer into along with the monitor and printer started blinking green.  When I pushed it, the computer shut down without being shut down properly.  My light and clock were off too.  I grabbed the flashlight, took the clock and plugged into another outlet. Nothing.  So Bernie started to move this bookcase so we could test another socket and the bookcase fell apart!

That socket didn't work either and we were sure that something baaad had happened.  He tried flipping some breakers while I googled green blinking light on my UPS.  Ah, Google told me the power supply was running strictly on battery so with no outlets working it was just a matter of time before the battery ran down.

I had a box of colored pencils, crayons, stickers and other creative things in a box and it opened up all over the floor.  Colored pencils everywhere! It's still a mess and I have books and angels on my bed and more angels and pencils on the counter in my bathroom.

Luckily he discovered there was a breaker just for this room and the UPS stopped blinking and turned a solid green.  Since it was so late we decided to leave everything alone and fix it in the morning. I grabbed my pillow, blanket, things to charge and headed to the living room.  It was a warm and comfy place to sleep.

I'm back writing this on my desktop. My electronics are working but the room is still a mess.  I'm not in a hurry to get it all back together, just thankful nothing major had to be replaced.

Glorious Sunset Last Night

September 9, 2021,

After dinner last night I was sitting at my iPad playing word with friends when the room began glowing.  At first I felt too lazy to get up and see why. But as the glow intensified I grabbed my phone and hurried outside. I gasped at the sight! The whole sky was glowing with one of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen.

Here are some pictures.  I hope you enjoy them.

Art Fifty Three Years Ago - Day19

When I found these sketches that I created back in the late 60s I was amazed.  I knew these were mine but I had forgotten that I was this creative.  What happened?  Why did I stop?  53 years ago.  What if I had continued practicing my art? What if I had taken some lessons? I know it's not too late.  I've been telling myself I was going to learn Procreate an art program on my iPad, but I haven't done much with it.  I'm not beating myself up, just really curious about what's going on here.  No, I'm not comparing either.

While finding these pictures I also found two empty art pads. Maybe these pictures are all I'll draw.  Is that wrong?  Or does it matter? I don't know.

I am enjoying blogging and am being more consistent than I am with creating art.  ????

I like to blog and I'm blogging every day in April with a group of over 300 creative bloggers on Effy's blog-along

Zoom With Your Angels

September 8, 2021

This is a repeat of one of my favorite blogs.

What if we could schedule zoom meetings with our angels?

Would you schedule regular meetings with your angels?  What would you ask them to help you with?  Why not visualize zoom meetings with your angels!  I've done this from time to time and I want to get into a regular habit of it.  Will I get quiet enough to listen?  Would doubt get in the way?  I do believe in them but never know how they are going to reply.  Will I get signs or dreams? Butterflies or birds? Coins or pretty cloud formations?  I never know.

What messages have YOU received?
Zooming with our Angels

I created this using a blank Zoom template and imported into Procreate, my digital art program on my iPad.  Then I copied different angels and cut and pasted them into the zoom windows.

I'm blogging every day in September with Effy's Blog a Thon.  I'm having fun coming up with different ideas for my blog. Also it's fun reading and commenting on many of the creative blogs people have been posting.

Sunsets

The west wall was glowing red.  I opened the door and saw this amazing sunset.   I grabbed my iPad and took these beautiful pictures.

I Love sunsets. These were breathtaking.

I hope you enjoy them too.

I Did it! - 30 days

I started blogging with Effy Wild  when she had her month long blog-alongs but didn't complete an entire month.  This year she started her month long blogging invite in April.  I found it about 5 days later but started anyhow. Then I skipped a few days. So here it is May 9, 2019 and I finished 30 days of blogging.  I'm quite proud of myself for actually blogging for 30 days.  I also enjoyed reading and commenting on the other blogger's posts.

I enjoy blogging but hadn't done much of it recently until I started again around April 5th.  I didn't know if I had enough ideas to blog for 30 days but somehow I did.

Will I continue?  I hope so.   I'll aim for once a week and if I write more that will be even better but no pressure.

Now the writing bug has jumped back into my brain and I want to start writing articles or short stories again.  I have some ideas and I downloaded what looks like a pretty good writing App on my ipad so I can write there too.

Thank you Effy Wild for giving me a challenge to blog every day in April.

Working Jigsaw puzzles - day 9

Do you remember when we used to spread jigsaw puzzles on a table and take turns putting the pieces together?  I have a friend who still likes working  jigsaw puzzles at her table.  I find it very uncomfortable to sit at a table for too long and especially if I was leaning over trying to put a puzzle together.  So I found a really cool app for my iPad and cell phone that's free.  I can sit here comfortably and move the puzzle pieces with my fingers.  There is a free puzzle each day and they give us a lot of free puzzles.

I don't get any compensation from them but I've tried others and this is the one I like.

Here is a set of puzzles I bought.  Aren't they pretty?

There is a place on the app where you can create custom puzzles from pictures you've saved on your computer. It's really easy to use.  Every time you buy some puzzles you get points so when you get enough points you can use them to buy more puzzles.

I can change the number of puzzle pieces from a few (If I don't like the free puzzle of the day) to many if the puzzle is beautiful.  Many are very lovely.  I am so thankful for these digital puzzles.
