Bedtime already! Day 23

Boy have I been procrastinating today.  Now that it is almost bedtime I don't even remember what I actually did.  Oh yes, we had a food delivery and the bread did not arrive.  It was one of the things I needed the most.  But we can go to the grocery store more safely now for a few things and it just might be good to get out.

I spent a lot of time looking for a folder with my silly animal drawings for a blog. Finally I found it - in another room. I had forgotten I moved it.

Ok I'm going to say goodnight and get myself to sleep.

Angel Hugs to you all.

I'm blogging every day this April with a wonderful, creative group of over 300 people here at Effy's blog-a-thon.

I've had those procrastination days, too, where suddenly it's bedtime and I have to work to remember what I did with my day. I hope tomorrow is smoother!

There are more days like this around here than I'd like to admit. :)

And NO BREAD? Bah! <3

I totally get those procrastination days. But you also blogged! Yay! Enjoy your bread--and hopefully the experience of getting it. I've heard about some pretty crazy grocery deliveries. Lol. <3

Thank you Kim, it wasn't a bad day just kind of a nothing day if that makes sense. At least I got my blog up.

I don't hate the days of procrastination Donna, unless it is something I really needed to do and didn't. Like make an appointment to go to a place I don't want to go to. Or miss a class I wanted to attend. So far today is better. Thank you.

I'm glad you liked the angel quote Cheryl. Was your procrastination day good for you or frustrating?

Unknown, I think I can wait until Sunday to get the bread. They were out of apple jelly and lettuce too. And the store is just a mile from us. But oh it is so much easier to sit here and do my grocery ordering online and have it all delivered. Most of the time the deliveries have been flawless so I can't complain. I did sleep well too. I hope you enjoy your procrastination days.

Effy, I did get garlic herb bread that we use with soup or spaghetti. It's that breakfast bread I didn't get. Very unusual though. Although one time I ordered baking potatoes and got a bag of sweet potatoes. LOL Yes it was the baking potatoes that were checked to be ordered. Another time I thought I ordered 3 onions and had ordered 3 bags instead. That was my fault and we got a laugh out of it. Maybe we should change the name procrastination to something more positive. Hmmm, wonder what that would be?

Sue, you don't know how close I came to not blogging yesterday! It didn't feel right though and I had to say something. I didn't want to lose my momentum so yes I was happy about that and angels always make for good blogs. Yes crazy grocery deliveries can be crazy. I wonder if I already blogged about my crazy one where I got $100 worth of groceries FREE.

I've been struck often by the procrastination bug.
We've had instances where we did an online order to pick up.
And then not receive certain items the store claimed were out of stock.
On a couple of these occasions, it so happened we needed something that we
forgot to order or was a last minute need. Only to run inside to grab the
needed item and then discover a shelf full of the very thing they were allegedly
out of. Or the item was on the back of the shelf and the person just didn't look.
So frustrating.

Ellie I have read about this in reviews from Walmart. I don't live close enough to one that I am going to run in there to see if they really had the bread and lettuce I ordered. But the grocery store near us is just about a mile and it is easy enough to go there and pick up the few items. Now if this happened a lot it would be frustrating. I'm sorry it's happening to you.

I feel getting the procrastination bug is good for us unless we are putting off things that really need doing.
